The report, anchored on the pillars of People, Planet and Progress, offers a detailed account of SBC’s sustainability performance over the past year. It highlights strides in environmental management, social impact initiatives, and corporate governance, underscoring the company’s drive to integrate sustainability into its core operations while delivering value to stakeholders.

Sari El-Khalil, Managing Director of Seven-Up Bottling Company, said the report reflects a deliberate and consistent effort to balance business growth with social responsibility.
“Our annual sustainability report captures our commitment to operating responsibly while creating meaningful impact. Sustainable growth is critical not only for our business but also for the communities we serve,” he said. “This report highlights our progress, acknowledges our challenges, and reaffirms our resolve to build a more sustainable future.”

Key highlights from the report include progress in water stewardship, improved waste management systems, and expanded community engagement programmes. The company also reported continued investments in sustainable production processes, alongside a strong focus on employee well-being, ethical standards, and strategic partnerships.

Nkemdirim Agboti, Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs at SBC, emphasised that sustainability is embedded in the company’s decision-making processes.
“Sustainability is not a standalone initiative for us; it is integral to how we operate daily,” Agboti said. “Over the past year, we have strengthened our environmental and social impact programmes to ensure our actions contribute to a more resilient and inclusive future. This report serves both as a record of progress and a roadmap for continuous improvement.”

The report is the outcome of extensive collaboration across multiple departments within the organisation. It involved months of data collection, stakeholder engagement, and rigorous review processes to ensure transparency, accuracy, and relevance.

Lovelyn Okoye, Head of Sustainability at Seven-Up Bottling Company, highlighted the company’s focus on delivering tangible outcomes.
“We are committed to translating sustainability into real, measurable impact,” she said. “Beyond compliance, we are investing in initiatives that improve lives, clean water access, waste reduction, employee welfare, and community partnerships. These efforts reflect our belief that business success and societal progress must go hand in hand.”

The report also demonstrates SBC’s alignment with global sustainability frameworks and local regulatory requirements, reinforcing its commitment to accountability and transparency. Through partnerships with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and host communities, the company continues to expand its impact and drive long-term value.

With this latest report, Seven-Up Bottling Company signals its intention to deepen its sustainability agenda while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and inclusive growth.
