PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has appointed Ms. Oghenekevwe Ogefere as its new Company Secretary, effective July 1, 2026.

The company disclosed this in a notice signed by its Chief Executive Officer, Oghale Joseph Elueni.

Ogefere’s appointment follows the expiration of the engagement of Alsec Nominees Limited as Company Secretary. The Board of Directors approved her appointment at a meeting held on June 30, 2026.

The company expressed appreciation to Alsec Nominees Limited for its professional service and contributions during its tenure.

Ogefere currently serves as Head of Legal at PZ Cussons Nigeria. She brings over 13 years of experience in legal advisory, corporate governance, company secretarial practice, regulatory affairs, and compliance.

Before joining PZ Cussons, she worked at Nigerian Breweries Plc as Senior Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Benin and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association as well as the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).

This appointment comes shortly after PZ Cussons Nigeria named Oghale Joseph Elueni as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in June 2026. Elueni succeeded Dimitrios Kostianis, who moved to a new role within the broader PZ Cussons Group.

The moves reflect the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership and governance structure in Nigeria.

This development is in line with similar recent executive appointments across major Nigerian companies.
