Airtel Africa has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Nigeria, describing the country as one of the most important markets in its African portfolio and pledging continued investment in its connectivity infrastructure and customer experience.

Sunil Taldar, Group Chief Executive Officer of Airtel Africa, gave the assurance during the commissioning of two new premium experience centres at DAT Mall, Sangotedo, and Marina in Lagos.

The new facilities are part of Airtel Nigeria’s ongoing expansion of its customer service network as the telecommunications company moves to bring its products and services closer to customers.

“Nigeria is one of the most important markets in the Airtel Africa portfolio, and our commitment to this country is long term,” Taldar said.

He added that Airtel would continue to invest in Nigeria because of its confidence in the country, its people and its economic potential.

“These experience centres are part of that investment, giving customers easier access to the quality products and services that connectivity increasingly makes possible,” he said.

The new outlets form part of Airtel Nigeria’s plan to establish 500 premium experience centres across the country.

More than 350 centres have already been launched, with the rollout designed to provide customers with easier access to high-quality service and Airtel’s expanding range of connectivity and digital solutions.

The centres serve as comprehensive customer touchpoints where consumers and businesses can access services including Outdoor Units (ODU), Fibre and Home Broadband solutions.

Customers can also subscribe to services, make enquiries, receive after-sales support and resolve service-related issues at the outlets.

Taldar said the expansion reflects Airtel Africa’s confidence in Nigeria and its commitment to investing in the country’s connectivity infrastructure, customer experience and long-term economic potential.
