The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has opened its recruitment portal for shortlisted candidates in the 2025 recruitment exercise to complete their final screening update ahead of the concluding phase of the process.
The Service announced that the portal will remain open until 11:00 p.m. on May 10, 2026.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the management of the Nigeria Customs Service on Wednesday.
According to the statement, candidates who successfully passed the earlier stages of the recruitment exercise are required to log into the official portal and complete a designated form to update their profiles before the final interview and physical screening.
The Service directed shortlisted applicants to visit the recruitment portal at Nigeria Customs Recruitment Portal and ensure all submitted information is accurate and valid.
“In continuation of the selection process leading to the final stage of the 2025 Recruitment Exercise, candidates who were successful in the previous phases are required to visit the NCS Recruitment Portal to complete a designated form,” the statement said.
The Nigeria Customs Service stressed that the recruitment process is completely free and warned candidates against fraudsters or individuals demanding payment in exchange for employment offers.
The agency noted that all official communication regarding the exercise would only be made through verified channels.
To assist applicants, the Service also provided dedicated help desk lines and official social media platforms for inquiries and verification.
Candidates were advised to complete the update within the stipulated period, as failure to do so could affect their eligibility for the final screening stage.
The ongoing recruitment exercise forms part of the Nigeria Customs Service’s broader efforts to strengthen its workforce, improve transparency in recruitment, and enhance operational efficiency through digital processes.
The recruitment exercise began on December 27, 2024, following approval to fill 3,927 vacancies across the Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant cadres.
According to the Service, a total of 573,523 applications were received during the initial phase of the recruitment process.
After document verification and screening, 286,697 candidates were shortlisted for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which was conducted nationwide between September 14 and 21, 2025.
The process has now entered its final screening update stage ahead of the last phase of selection.
