Industry leaders and innovators have hailed GITEX Nigeria as a resounding success, underscoring its role in shaping Africa’s digital future and positioning Nigeria as a central hub for technology adoption and innovation.
The exhibition, organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre in collaboration with NITDA Nigeria, drew participation from global technology firms, startups, and thought leaders, creating a dynamic platform for partnerships, innovation showcases, and discussions on the continent’s fast-paced digital transformation.
Speaking at the event, Oluwatosin Charles Ike , Lead, Digital Media at DataMellon described the exhibition as “worth every investment.” He noted: “Having experienced GITEX Morocco earlier this year, I was eager to attend GITEX Nigeria, and I must say it has met all expectations. From the orderliness to the calibre of participants, the event has been impressive. The quality of the connections here surpasses what one would typically find elsewhere. If another edition is held, irrespective of the country, I would be willing to be part of it.”
Echoing this sentiment, Rajeesh M, Director Operations at CXO Insight, emphasised the event’s significance for Africa’s fast-growing technology landscape: “It’s a great experience to be part of GITEX Nigeria. The African region is one of the fastest-growing in terms of digital adoption, and Nigeria has shown remarkable progress, especially with government support over the past five to six years. For Azaalea AI, the exhibition offered an opportunity to showcase its new mini ERP solution within the Azaalea framework. Speaking from the exhibition stand of it’s Nigerian partner, Pacific Solution and Technologies, Abhijeet Patale, Vice President, International Operations, Azaalea AI, expressed excitement about the Nigerian market’s potential: “We’ve been in Nigeria for some time with our ERP offerings, but the response at GITEX Nigeria has been phenomenal. Attendees were keen to learn about our financial accounting, CRM, and HRMS solutions. What sets us apart is the AI functionality built into our mini ERP, something no other provider currently offers in this market.”
On what offerings Nigerians can expect, he stated, “Nigerian businesses can expect a robust, scalable, and flexible platform that serves startups as well as enterprises with thousands of users.”
He further noted that Azalea AI is actively seeking channel partners in Nigeria to help extend its solutions to businesses nationwide.
