Digital banking platform PalmPay has reaffirmed its commitment to reliable, secure and responsive customer service as it joins organisations around the world in marking this year’s Customer Service Week, themed “The Extra Mile.”
The fintech said its approach to customer service goes beyond resolving complaints, focusing instead on anticipating customers’ needs, strengthening protection tools and ensuring users can access support when they need it.
According to PalmPay, this philosophy is reflected in its “PalmPay Dey For You” initiative, which combines security awareness, proactive protection and tools designed to help customers manage their accounts with greater confidence.
Head of Marketing, PalmPay, Femi Hanson, said customer service remains a critical part of the digital banking experience.
“Our approach is built around more than resolving complaints. It is about being present when customers need us most and making sure that every customer who reaches out feels supported and prioritised,” Hanson said.
For millions of Nigerians using digital platforms for everyday transactions, PalmPay said reliability now extends beyond the successful completion of a transaction.
It also includes access to appropriate security tools and responsive support when customers encounter problems with their accounts.
As part of its customer protection efforts, PalmPay introduced a Transaction Dispute Page, giving customers a dedicated channel to report and track transaction-related concerns through the resolution process.
The company has also deployed security features including Night Guard, Large Transaction Shield and USSD Account Lock, which are designed to provide additional protection across different transaction scenarios.
PalmPay said these tools, alongside its customer support processes and personnel, form part of its broader effort to ensure customers remain protected, informed and supported throughout their banking journey.
While Customer Service Week offers an opportunity to highlight PalmPay’s 24/7 customer support, the company said its focus extends beyond the annual observance to strengthening customer protection, improving support and building trust in its digital banking services.
