Nigerian Breweries (NB), a leading brewery in Nigeria; Checkers Africa Ltd, makers of custard brands; Nestlé Nigeria; Rite Foods, makers of Bigi drinks; and Afriglobal Insurance Brokers Ltd, have thrown their weight behind this year’s MediaConsortium Conference and Awards, scheduled to hold on Friday, September 18, at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa, Ikeja.

The MediaConsortium Conference enters its fourth edition as a high-level gathering that brings together business leaders, marketing professionals, brand strategists, corporate executives, media practitioners, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and students to shape conversations around evolving consumer trends and market dynamics.

Organised annually by MediaConsortium, a brand, business, and marketing publication, the event provides a strategic platform for thought leadership, networking, knowledge sharing, and the recognition of outstanding brands, organisations, and individuals redefining value creation, customer engagement, innovation, and market relevance in today’s rapidly changing business environment.

This year’s edition, themed “The Value Shift: Strategies for the New Market Reality in the Age of the Empowered Consumer,” will feature Dr. Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), who has confirmed her participation as the keynote speaker, and Femi Opadere, Head of Digital at Glo, as the guest speaker.

While Dr. Bolajoko and Opadere will speak on the theme, their presentations will be dissected during a panel session by a lineup of experienced marketing professionals, including Adewole Lawal, Sustainable Lead, Evercorp Industries; Oke Umurhowho, Head of Marketing, StarTimes; Olusesan Ogunyooye, Head of Marketing, AXA Mansard and Olabisi Shonibare, Director, Partnerships, Grants Management and Innovations, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency.

Meanwhile, other organisations that are backing the conference are, Ajinomoto Foods Nigeria Ltd.; PZ Wilmer; Integrated Indigo Ltd, a full-service marketing communications consultancy firm; and Digisplash, a digital marketing agency, among others.
