MTN Nigeria emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 2025 Consumers Value Awards (CVA), claiming four top honours at the event held at the Ijakadi Hall, Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA.

The awards followed an open, nationwide voting process and recognise brands that deliver exceptional value, service quality, and accountability. Organised by BrandXchange, this year’s edition had the theme: “Beyond Prices: Consumer Trust, Digital Experience & Brand Accountability.”

MTN won in four key categories:

  • Best Green Energy Adoption by a Company (53% of consumer votes)
  • Best Customer Service – Telecoms Brand (54% of consumer votes)
  • Most Reliable Internet Service Provider (66% of consumer votes)
  • Best CSR Initiative by a Corporate Brand – MTN Foundation (73% of consumer votes)

Ugonwa Nwoye, Chief Customer Relations and Experience Officer of MTN Nigeria, said the awards reflect the trust and loyalty of customers. “These awards stand as proof of our customers’ belief in us. We remain committed to exceptional service, sustainability, and meaningful social impact. This recognition inspires us to continue raising the bar,” she said.

The results underline MTN’s strong consumer-focused strategy. The win for Most Reliable Internet Service Provider highlights the impact of MTN’s ongoing investment in network infrastructure, which has delivered more stable, high-quality connectivity across Nigeria.

Its award for Best Green Energy Adoption also signals MTN’s growing leadership in environmental responsibility, as consumers increasingly reward companies committed to sustainability. MTN’s efforts to transition parts of its network to cleaner energy sources show a long-term approach to reducing its carbon footprint.

Beyond its commercial success, the recognition of the MTN Foundation for Best CSR Initiative emphasises MTN’s continued investment in education, health, youth empowerment, and community development.

The telco’s strong showing at the CVA further cements its position as a trusted, consumer-driven brand and a leader in Nigeria’s digital and social impact space.
