MTN Nigeria is set to celebrate its customers as the telecoms company marks its annual Customer Service Week from Monday, October 5, to Friday, October 9, 2026.
The week-long celebration is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen customer relationships, appreciate subscribers and reinforce its commitment to service excellence.
In a statement announcing the activities, MTN Nigeria said customers had remained central to its journey over the past 25 years and would be at the heart of this year’s celebration.
“For 25 years, you’ve been at the heart of our journey, and this Customer Service Week, we’re celebrating you,” the company said.
MTN encouraged customers to visit its experience centres during the week to participate in activities designed to recognise and appreciate them.
“From 5 to 9 October, visit our experience centres and join us as we go the extra mile to appreciate the customers who make it all possible,” the company added.
The telecoms operator also said the celebration would feature media-friendly activities, encouraging customers to come camera-ready and participate in creating memorable moments.
“It’s going to be a media-friendly zone, so bring your brightest smile, come camera-ready, and don’t be afraid to add that extra flair to your look. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and create some memorable moments together,” MTN said.
Customer Service Week is an annual global observance that highlights the importance of customer service and recognises employees and organisations that serve and support customers.
The celebration is observed by organisations across sectors, including telecommunications, banking, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, education and government.
Companies typically use the week to appreciate customers and frontline employees through recognition programmes, gifts, rewards, engagement activities and other initiatives aimed at strengthening customer relationships.
For MTN Nigeria, this year’s celebration comes as the company marks 25 years of operations in the Nigerian telecommunications market, providing an opportunity to recognise the customers who have been part of its journey.
