First Bank of Nigeria Limited has partnered with the organizers of the E1 Lagos GP, the first all-electric powerboat racing championship in the city, scheduled to run from October 3 to 5, 2025. This collaboration is part of the bank’s long-standing commitment to sports and human development.

Olayinka Ijabiyi, the bank’s Acting Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communication, stated that the partnership is about fostering a national legacy and uniting Nigerians through shared passions.

He highlighted the bank’s history of supporting major sporting events, including over a century of involvement with the Georgian Polo Cup. The E1 Lagos GP will feature teams owned by global stars like Tom Brady, LeBron James, and Rafael Nadal, showcasing Lagos on a global stage ahead of the season finale in Miami.
