Dr. Fatimah Ahmadu Honoured with 2025 City People Female Achievers Award

 Dr Fatimah Ahmadu, renowned communications professional and healthcare leader, has been honoured with the prestigious 2025 City People Female Achievers Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to society, women’s empowerment, and professional excellence across the fields of public relations, healthcare, and humanitarian service.
The award, presented in October 2025, celebrates women who have made a remarkable impact in their professions and communities through leadership, innovation, and service. Dr Ahmadu’s recognition underscores her dedication to improving lives and advancing excellence across multiple sectors.
Speaking after receiving the award, Dr Ahmadu expressed heartfelt gratitude,  “I’m deeply honoured to receive this recognition. It’s a reminder that dedication, compassion, and consistency truly make a difference. Every milestone is a shared victory, with my loyal friends, family, and colleagues who have stood by me with unwavering trust and support. I’m profoundly grateful.”
Dr Ahmadu currently serves as the Principal Consultant at S5 PR & Communications Ltd., where she leads strategy and client advisory for corporate reputation management, brand storytelling, and stakeholder engagement. She is also the Chief Medical Director of SusamSSS Hospitals, a multi-specialty healthcare facility committed to providing accessible, patient-centred care in Nigeria.
Beyond her professional commitments, Dr Ahmadu is the founder of the Healthfeed Initiative NGO, a not-for-profit organisation focused on community health education, preventive medicine, and health outreach programmes targeted at vulnerable populations. Through the initiative, she has led several impactful campaigns promoting wellness, maternal health, and youth empowerment.
The City People Female Achievers Award highlights individuals who exemplify excellence and inspire others to break boundaries. Dr Ahmadu’s recognition affirms her as a trailblazer at the intersection of communication, healthcare, and community service, demonstrating that success is most meaningful when it uplifts others.
 “This award encourages me to keep serving, mentoring, and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of women and society at large,” she added.
Dr Ahmadu continues to balance her multifaceted career with passion and purpose, inspiring a generation of women to lead with heart, integrity, and impact.
