Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembele has been named The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2025, capping a landmark season that ranks among the most successful in PSG’s history.
The 28-year-old was the driving force behind PSG’s first-ever UEFA Champions League title, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in the competition as the club finally conquered Europe.
Dembele’s influence stretched beyond continental glory. He played a key role as PSG completed a domestic treble, winning Ligue 1, the Coupe de France and the Trophée des Champions, and helped the club reach the final of the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup.
Individually, the French winger enjoyed an exceptional campaign. He was named Most Valuable Player in both the Champions League and Ligue 1 for the 2024/25 season, finished as joint top scorer in the French league and collected multiple end-of-season honours across Europe.
His achievements include Champions League, Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles, victory in the Trophée des Champions, a runner-up finish at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and a third-place finish with France at the UEFA Nations League. Dembele was also named UEFA Champions League Player of the Season, included in the Team of the Season, voted Ligue 1 Player of the Year and selected in the UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Year.
The award was decided through FIFA’s voting process, covering performances between August 11, 2024 and August 2, 2025. Votes were cast by national team coaches and captains, journalists and fans worldwide, with each group carrying equal weight, ultimately confirming Dembele as the standout men’s player of the year.
