CRC Credit Bureau has launched an upgraded CRC Mobile App, introducing new digital features designed to improve access to credit information and expand everyday financial services for individuals and businesses.
The enhanced application provides users with seamless access to credit reports and financial data, while integrating additional services such as secure authentication, payments, and financial education registration, all within a single mobile platform.
A major feature of the redesigned app is biometric login, which enables users to securely access their accounts using facial recognition and fingerprint authentication. The security upgrade is designed to strengthen data protection while ensuring faster and more convenient login for customers.
The platform also introduces an integrated wallet system that enables users to fund transactions directly within the app. The wallet features a show-and-hide balance option, offering users enhanced privacy and control when accessing financial information in public settings.
Beyond credit reporting, the new CRC Mobile App expands into everyday digital services. Users can now pay their electricity bills, buy airtime and mobile data, and subscribe to cable television services, including DSTV, GOtv, and StarTimes, directly through the application.
The mobile platform also supports professional development through direct registration for courses offered by the CRC Financial Education Centre (CFEC), allowing users to access training programmes focused on financial literacy and credit management.
The CRC Mobile App was originally introduced in 2019 to provide individuals and businesses with easier access to credit reports and related credit information products. However, the initial version offered limited services, basic security architecture and separate login credentials for web and mobile platforms.
The newly redesigned application addresses these limitations with improved integrations, faster service delivery, and a more modern user interface, reflecting the growing demand for secure and integrated digital financial tools in Nigeria.
Speaking on the launch, Tunde Popoola, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CRC Credit Bureau, stated that the upgraded platform is part of the organisation’s broader digital transformation strategy.
According to him, the app is designed to place greater control in the hands of customers while maintaining high standards of security and operational excellence.
He added that CRC remains committed to investing in technology that improves transparency, expands access to financial services, and strengthens trust within Nigeria’s financial ecosystem.
The CRC mobile app is now available for download on major mobile platforms.
