Integrated Indigo Limited and Teksight Edge Limited were the standout stars at the 2025 Lagos Public Relations Industry Gala & Awards (LAPRIGA), as the flagship PR awards marked its 10th anniversary with a vibrant showcase of excellence, innovation, and measurable results. Hosted by the Lagos chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the event reaffirmed its position as Nigeria’s leading platform for recognising outstanding work in the communications industry.

This milestone edition attracted leading professionals across corporate communications, public affairs, digital strategy, and media. More than 20 competitive and honorary categories celebrated bold campaigns, insightful storytelling, effective reputation management, and the growing integration of technology in PR practice.

Indigo and Teksight emerged as top achievers of the night, sweeping multiple high-profile categories. Their winning entries demonstrated strong creativity, data-backed strategy, and clear evidence of impact, qualities the judges highlighted as central to the 2025 evaluation process.

Integrated Indigo Limited claimed awards in Crisis and Issues Management, Sustainability Communications, Insights-Driven Communications and Private Sector PR Campaign of the Year.

Teksight Edge secured major wins as Best Use of Technology in PR, Best in Internal Communications and Excellence in Social Media and Artificial Intelligence Innovation in Public Sector Communications

Mosron Communications emerged as the PR Agency of the Year while Tolulope Olorundero, its CEO, clinched the highly coveted Most Influential Person of the Year Award.  Ifeoluwa Ariyo-Agbaje got the Rising Star Award.

Dr Nkem Osere won the PR Educator of the Year, and Tokunbo George-Taylor was judged the PR Trainer of the Year.

TGI Group won the Community Relations Excellence Award and was named Most Reputable Brand of the Year. Brand Communicator won the Outstanding Marketing Communications Magazine of the Year.

Thelma Okoh and Muyiwa Akande were conferred with the prestigious Service to the Lagos Chapter Award. Lifetime Achievements Awards were bestowed on Dr Joseph Okonma, Mr Jide Ologun and Mr Kayode Yeku.

Celebrating its 10th edition, LAPRIGA @10 put a spotlight on the theme: Non Excellentia – Night of Excellence. The focus of the awards was on trends redefining modern PR, including AI adoption, ethical practice, sustainability, digital intelligence, and crisis readiness. These priorities reflect NIPR Lagos’ continued efforts to adapt award categories to match global best practices and the evolving realities of communication work.

Samuel Ayetutu, Chairman of NIPR Lagos, described the anniversary edition as “a night of excellence, a moment to showcase and celebrate the ingenuity, resilience, and innovation that our members bring to the table.”

Chido Nwakama, Chairman, LAPRIGA Selection Committee, make a heartfelt appeal for members “to embrace a culture of confident self-representation.” He noted that submitting works for scrutiny is a professional stride, not vulnerability.

By the end of the ceremony, LAPRIGA 2025 was widely regarded as one of the most competitive and forward-thinking editions yet. With standout performances from agencies like Indigo and Teksight, the awards once again underscored the creativity, strategy, and evolving sophistication that continue to position Lagos and Nigeria as a leading hub for modern public relations in Africa.
