Nigeria’s oil production crashed by about 14.94 million barrels in the second quarter of 2022, according to data obtained from the latest Monthly Oil Market Report of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) for June 2022. The Federal Government (FG), in furtherance of efforts to curb incidents of poverty in the country, has approved N400 billion under the National Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy (NPRGS). The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Apapa Area Command, has announced that it generated N522.4 billion in the first half of 2022. The Area Controller, Comptroller Malanta Yusuf, made this known at a news conference in Lagos recently.
