He disclosed that the university has established over 20 new academic courses aimed at expanding opportunities for students and contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s socio-economic growth and manpower development.
According to him, the university also recorded a major milestone in the last academic session with the admission of over 15,000 new students, reflecting the institution’s growing relevance and appeal.
“As an alumnus of this great institution, I am deeply committed to moving the university forward and ensuring that UNIBEN continues to maintain its place as one of Nigeria’s leading universities,” he stated.
The Vice Chancellor further revealed that the university has established the UNIBEN Development Trust Fund as part of efforts to mobilise resources for infrastructural development, research advancement and other strategic initiatives that will strengthen the institution’s future.
He called on alumni, stakeholders and development partners to continue supporting the university’s vision and aspirations.
