Dr. Ahmadu Fatimah-Binta Receives Triple International Honours At Unilag Summit

Dr. Ahmadu Fatimah-Binta, Medical Director of Susamsss Hospital, Principal Consultant at S5 PR Communications Ltd, and Chief Executive Officer of HealthFeed Initiative NGO, has been conferred with three prestigious honours in recognition of her exceptional leadership, integrity, and service to humanity.

At a distinguished summit held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Yaba, Dr. Fatimah-Binta received:

  1. Doctor of Personnel and Human Resource Management (Honoris Causa) – Awarded by Highstone Global University, Texas, USA, following the recommendation of its faculty and approval by the Board of Directors. The award was conferred in recognition of her outstanding professional excellence, leadership capacity, and impact across the private and public sectors.
  2. Leadtimes Africa Grand African Leadership Prize for Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in Service -Presented by Leadtimes Africa, acknowledging her meritorious contributions to nation-building, ethical leadership, and community development.
  3. Induction into the Leadtimes Africa Hall of Fame (2025) – In honour of her enduring influence and exceptional contributions to governance, healthcare advocacy, strategic communication, and humanitarian service.

According to a press statement credited to Professor Buba S. Mshelia, Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa Magazine and Co-Convener of the ceremony, the honours were bestowed strictly on merit, without bias or prejudice. He noted that the awardees were carefully selected for their demonstrable impact, integrity, and service across diverse fields.

Dr. Fatimah-Binta was specially recognised for her extensive contributions spanning healthcare delivery, public relations practice, faith-based initiatives, humanitarian advocacy, and stakeholder engagement in both private and public institutions.

The event also witnessed the recognition of several eminent Nigerians, including Dr. (Mrs.) Jummai Tutuwa Adamu, Director-General/CEO of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO), received the Leadtimes Africa Industrial Researcher of the Year Award. Professor Mshelia described her nomination as a testament to her transformative impact on Nigeria’s industrial research ecosystem and the role of science and technology in national development.

Also honoured was Dr. (Hon.) Uriel Ezeh, Group Managing Director of UR 9 Group, received the Leadtimes Africa Businessman of the Year Award for his outstanding achievements across multiple sectors, including real estate, construction, agriculture, hospitality, energy, logistics, and asset management.

Other recipients of the Grand African Leadership Prize for Integrity, Transparency and Accountability include Dr. Azeez Abayomi Mustapha (CEO, AZ Logistics Ltd); Mr. QS Raheem Abdulbaki (CEO, Kwara State Procurement Agency); and Engr. (Dr.) Abubakar Sadiq Mustapha (GMD/CEO, Trade & Tech Group), was also inducted into the Leadtimes Africa Hall of Fame and nominated as an Advisory Board Member of Leadtimes Africa Magazine.

In the same vein, Highstone Global University, Texas, USA, conferred honorary doctorate degrees on several distinguished Nigerians, including Princess Layo Bakare Okeowo (CEO, FAE Ltd) and Arc. Emmanuel Moris of the Nigeria Police Force, who received a Doctor of Risk and Security Management (Honoris Causa).

Numerous other leaders across government, business, engineering, academia, logistics, fashion, education, and infrastructure were also recognised with various Leadtimes Africa awards for excellence, leadership, and service.

Representatives of Highstone Global University, Texas, USA, were present at the ceremony, underscoring the international stature and credibility of the event.

The triple honours conferred on Dr. Ahmadu Fatimah-Binta further affirm her growing influence as a respected professional, ethical leader, and committed servant of humanity.
