The AGM was held on July 24, 2026, at the Providence Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, bringing together advertising professionals to review the association’s progress and chart its future direction.
The re-elected Executive Committee comprises:
- Lanre Adisa – President
- Adekoyejo Abiola – Vice President

- Funmibi Fayo-Adeleye – Publicity Secretary
- Bayo Owosina – Assistant Publicity Secretary
Returning as ex-officio members are Biodun Adefila, Olabisi Olusanya, Funke Adekola, and Raphael Idu, while Oluwaseyi Layade and Ayoade Aderoju join the Executive Committee as newly elected ex-officio members.
Speaking after his re-election, Adisa thanked members for reaffirming their confidence in the leadership team, describing the outcome as an endorsement of the association’s vision for a stronger and more resilient advertising industry.
He also welcomed the newly elected members, expressing confidence that their expertise and fresh perspectives would strengthen the Executive Committee’s work. “I am deeply honoured by the confidence our members have once again placed in this leadership team. We remain committed to strengthening the advertising industry, promoting professional excellence, creating greater value for our member agencies, and deepening collaboration with stakeholders to position Nigerian advertising for sustainable growth in an evolving communications landscape,” Adisa said.
He pledged to build on the association’s existing achievements by fostering greater collaboration across the industry, advancing professional standards, and delivering more value to member agencies.
AAAN, the umbrella body for advertising agencies in Nigeria, is the country’s oldest association representing the interests of advertising agencies. The association plays a leading role in promoting professionalism, ethical standards, capacity building, and the overall development of Nigeria’s advertising and marketing communications industry.
The renewed leadership is expected to continue driving initiatives aimed at strengthening the industry, supporting member agencies, and positioning Nigerian advertising to remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic communications landscape.
