The Federal Government (FG), in furtherance of efforts to curb incidents of poverty in the country, has approved N400 billion under the National Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy (NPRGS). Initiatives covered under this strategy include the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme, Conditional Cash Transfer, Farmer Money, and Market Money. The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Apapa Area Command, has announced that it generated N522.4 billion in the first half of 2022. The Area Controller, Comptroller Malanta Yusuf, made this known at a news conference in Lagos recently.
