The Healthcare Federation of Nigeria has announced plans for the 2026 edition of the HFN Healthcare Leadership Conference, a high-level gathering aimed at advancing practical solutions for healthcare delivery, investment readiness and sustainable growth across Nigeria’s healthcare ecosystem.
The conference, scheduled to hold during the World Health Expo Lagos 2026, will bring together healthcare leaders, policymakers, regulators, investors, development partners and private sector stakeholders to deliberate on actionable strategies for transforming healthcare systems in Nigeria and across West Africa.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Landmark Events Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, beginning from 9:00am.
With the theme, *“Enabling Market Access and Investment Readiness to Drive Health System Transformation,”* the conference will focus on addressing some of the most pressing barriers limiting healthcare growth and access within the region.
According to the organisers, conversations at the conference will centre on strengthening regulatory pathways and market entry processes, improving financing and investment alignment, enhancing supply chain efficiency and local production capacity, as well as driving digital enablement and overall system readiness.
The conference is expected to feature keynote presentations, expert-led panel discussions and cross-sector engagements designed to move beyond policy conversations towards implementation-driven outcomes capable of accelerating healthcare transformation.
Speaking on the significance of the conference, the organisers noted that Nigeria’s healthcare sector is entering a critical phase where stronger collaboration between government, investors, healthcare providers, innovators and regulators has become essential to achieving sustainable impact.
“The focus is increasingly shifting from policy intent to implementation, scale and investment readiness. This conference provides a strategic platform for stakeholders to engage on practical pathways that can strengthen healthcare delivery and unlock new opportunities for growth across the sector,” the organisers stated.
Participants at the conference will also have the opportunity to network and build partnerships with key stakeholders shaping the future of healthcare in Nigeria and the wider West African region.
The HFN Healthcare Leadership Conference forms part of ongoing efforts by the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria to promote innovation, investment, collaboration and policy advocacy within the healthcare sector.
Stakeholders, healthcare professionals, investors, innovators and members of the business community have been encouraged to participate in the conference and contribute to conversations that will shape the future of healthcare delivery in the region.
