Chams Holding Company Plc has announced the creation of a new subsidiary, ChamsCorp Plc, and notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and investing public of the development.
The newly incorporated ChamsCorp Plc will focus on:
- Digital device manufacturing and infrastructure development
- Data centre design, implementation and operations
- Artificial intelligence infrastructure
- Intelligent systems development
Board appointments
The board of Chams Holding has appointed:
- Mohammed Bashir Yunusa as Chairman
- Olufemi Oyenuga as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
Both appointments took effect on February 1, 2026.
About the chairman
Yunusa is a finance professional with experience in deal structuring, corporate and retail finance, business strategy, digital transformation, and Islamic finance. He has facilitated transactions across sectors including transportation, agriculture, infrastructure and renewable energy in sub-Saharan and Northern Africa.
He currently leads the Consumer and Digital Banking business for the Non-Interest Banking Retail segment at Sterling Bank Nigeria and serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Chams Holding.

Oyenuga is an information management and data analytics specialist with experience delivering business intelligence solutions across healthcare, telecoms, ICT, manufacturing and financial services. He is a certified intelligence analytical modeller.
