Lagos-based communications consultancy Without A Box has marked its 10th anniversary with the theme, “The Convergence,” announcing a major expansion of its business as it enters a new phase.

The agency, founded in 2016 by Theodore Nyingifa, communications strategist and Lead Consultant, is transitioning from a public relations consultancy into a full-service Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) agency.

Nyingifa said the move would enable the firm to build on a decade of experience while offering clients more integrated, creative and strategic communications solutions.

“Ten years ago, Without A Box was founded with the goal of being that breath of fresh air in the marketing communications industry, utilising a tailored approach to providing solutions for each of our clients,” he said.

He said the agency’s approach over the years had been shaped by its relationships with clients, partners and team members, as well as the experience gained from delivering communications solutions across different sectors.

“We have garnered so much experience over the years, which is what we intend to bring to bear as we enter into this new phase of our journey as an integrated marketing communications agency,” Nyingifa said.

He expressed appreciation to the agency’s clients, partners and employees for supporting its vision and growth over the past decade.

“We are grateful to our clients, partners and team for believing in our vision and helping us build an agency that continues to challenge conventional thinking,” he said.

Nyingifa added that the agency would continue to focus on innovation and creative solutions as it expands its offering.

Since its establishment, Without A Box has worked with local and international brands across a range of industries.

Its client portfolio includes PZ Cussons brands such as Premier Cool, Cussons Baby, Morning Fresh, Joy Beauty and Robb, as well as Bet9ja, Kerrygold, Mamador, Golden Penny Foods, the Irish Food Board (Bord Bia) and NNPC Retail Limited.

The agency has also received industry recognition, including the Marketing Edge Award for Outstanding Young PR Agency of the Year, the Media Consortium Award for Most Innovative PR Agency of the Year in 2023, the Media Consortium Award for Future Leader in Perception Management, and the BrandCom Award for Most Outstanding Agency in Brand PR.

The 10th anniversary celebrations, scheduled for the second half of 2026, will feature a series of industry and stakeholder engagements.

Activities will include a symposium, a pitch-a-thon for tertiary institution students, an inter-agency bowling competition and a black-tie anniversary gala dinner.

The agency said the activities would provide an opportunity to reflect on its first decade while looking ahead to its next phase as an integrated marketing communications firm.
