Nigerian Breweries Plc has launched its 80th-anniversary campaign, titled “Together, Every Moment,” offering ₦80 million in cash prizes to reward customer loyalty across the country.
To mark eight decades of operation since its incorporation in 1946, the company is inviting Nigerians to share personal photographs and videos that showcase how Nigerian Breweries, its products, or its community initiatives have featured in their lives, businesses, and celebrations.
Through the nationwide “National Story Collection” initiative, 80 selected entries will win ₦1 million each, alongside other prizes. The winning stories will also be featured in commemorative films, editorial features, social media campaigns, outdoor displays, and the company’s official 80th-anniversary archive.
Speaking on the campaign, Thibaut Boidin, Managing Director and CEO of Nigerian Breweries Plc, emphasised that the anniversary focuses on the people who have supported the brand over the decades.
“An 80th anniversary can easily become a company talking about itself. That would miss the point,” Boidin said. “Long before our history was captured in corporate archives, it was being lived in Nigerian homes, businesses, and communities. Farmers, entrepreneurs, retailers, distributors, suppliers, employees, and communities have all played a role in shaping our journey.”
Boidin added: “With NB@80, we are inviting Nigerians to bring those moments to life and give them the national stage they deserve. We want to see the photographs, videos, and memories that tell the story from their perspective, not simply ours. Because after 80 years, the most meaningful way to celebrate our history is to celebrate the people and moments that made it.”
Beyond the photo and video submission campaign, Nigerian Breweries Plc plans to host a broader series of anniversary activities, including cultural events, media storytelling features, and consumer engagement programs throughout the year.
