In line with the theme of the 2024 PR Fest, “Communication and Culture – Reawakening Our Unique Heritage,” the Lagos Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) will partner with Goge Africa, an award-winning Pan African media and tourism company with over 25 years of experience.
Goge Africa, ranked first among the top 100 tour companies in Africa, has consistently showcased Africa’s heritage, culture, tourism, and investment opportunities through TV content and professional consultancy services.
This collaboration was sealed during a courtesy visit by the Lagos Chapter’s executive committee to the corporate office of Goge Africa in Maryland on Tuesday. During the meeting, the Lagos Chapter sought the company’s support for the upcoming event.
Expressing interest in the collaboration, Mr. Metche Isaac Moses, Chief Executive Officer, and Mrs. Nneka Isaac-Moses, Managing Director, noted that the activities lined up for PR Fest align with their company’s core objectives and mission.
The couple will be among the key personalities headlining the 2024 PR Fest. The activities marking the Lagos PR Fest will culminate in the Communication and Culture Lecture on Thursday, July 11, 2024. This special edition aims to reawaken and preserve cultural values for future generations. As communication practitioners, the event will provide a platform to promote peaceful coexistence and tolerance among various ethnic groups.
The planned activities are expected to attract record participation from practitioners within and outside the country. Highlights will include a Media Tour of Lagos and a documentary showcasing Lagos’s beauty as a strategic tourism destination and a major centre of cultural convergence.
Other activities will include a Public Relations Practitioners’ Cocktail Evening featuring a cultural parade and performances, networking with industry partners and gurus, the Lagos PR Sports Festival, a Health Awareness Walk, a Health Talk, and Health Check sessions.
Also, there will be a special mentoring session for students and upcoming Public Relations professionals focused on the ethics of public relations and our unique cultural values.
